WHY THIS YEAR MATTERS

A NEW SEASON FOR FREEDOM LAKE MINISTRIES

For nearly a decade, Freedom Lake Ministries has faithfully served men at Community Transitional Services (CTS Russell), helping them discover freedom, purpose, and identity in Christ.

Now, God is doing what only He can do—opening extraordinary new doors inside the correctional facility where we serve seven days a week.

The church plant was never the finish line. It has always been part of a much bigger vision. Join us as we celebrate God’s faithfulness and be among the first to hear what He is revealing for the next chapter of Freedom Lake Ministries.

From Prisoner to Disciple-Maker

Transformation You Can See

The men you’ll hear from aren’t guest speakers—they’re living proof of what God can do through discipleship.

Many first encountered Freedom Lake Ministries while incarcerated. Today, some have returned as staff and ministry leaders, serving in the same facility where God changed their lives and walking alongside others who are searching for hope, healing, and freedom.

Their stories are not simply stories of recovery.

They are stories of redemption.

I was lost, hopeless, and didn't know Jesus. Freedom Lake showed me what it means to be a godly man and gave me hope for my future."

MEET THE SPEAKERS

STORIES OF REDEMPTION YOU WON’T FORGET

Hear powerful testimonies from former residents who once struggled with addiction, incarceration, and hopelessness but are now serving as Freedom Lake ministry leaders and staff in the very facility where God transformed their lives. You’ll also hear from Freedom Lake founders Tony and Kim Cash, including Tony’s remarkable journey through nearly four decades of incarceration before surrendering his life to Christ. Their stories are living proof that no one is beyond God’s grace and that transformed lives can become instruments of transformation for others.

Together they represent what happens when God’s grace meets a surrendered heart: lives are transformed, leaders are raised, and disciples are made.

WHAT ATTENDEES ARE SAYING ABOUT GOD'S HARVEST

We love bringing together the community to celebrate powerful testimonies, connect with like-minded individuals, and witness God’s transformative work in action.

“I came to last year's God's Harvest Celebration to see my brother, but what I found was the undeniable presence of God. The powerful testimonies revealed men who were once lost, now living with purpose in Christ. Each unique story shared a common mission and brotherhood in Christ. Witnessing their incredible transformation made me reflect on my walk with the Lord and inspired me to step up my game for Jesus. The hope and future these men now have in Christ is priceless.”
Melissa Melton
“Attending God’s Harvest Celebration last year truly blessed my heart. From the powerful cardboard testimonies to hearing from the guys on staff, I felt God’s presence in such a real and tangible way. It’s more than just an event—it’s a front-row seat to the transformative power of Jesus and a glimpse of the Kingdom of Heaven. I left with my spirit refreshed and my heart full of gratitude, thankful to be part of something so special. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for Freedom Lake!”
Chancey Rogers
“What a blessing to see firsthand the fruit of redeemed lives at God's Harvest Celebration last year! When the men came out with their cardboard signs revealing the changes in their lives, it was incredible. Not just stories, but faces behind the stories. On top of that, the food was great! Of course, my biggest blessing was seeing my brother give his personal testimony of redemption!
Chris Brancheau
"Attending God’s Harvest event at the Mellwood Arts Center was an unforgettable experience—from the warm fellowship and delicious food to the powerful stories of transformation. As I listened to men share how Jesus redeemed their lives and turned their time of incarceration into a testimony of hope, I was deeply moved. It wasn’t just an event; it was a living picture of grace, restoration, and the power of the Gospel."
Tina Lovelace
“You can’t meet Tony and Kim Cash, and you get the whole picture of how Jesus heals broken people and turns their lives around for their good. God uses them to teach others how to overcome their brokenness and to lead others to do the same thing. Hearing the testimonies, catching the vision, meeting the men whose lives have been turned around to serve, in Jesus' Name is incredibly powerful.”
Cliff & Phyllis Carter
"God’s Harvest Celebration is an event I look forward to every year. It’s a true blessing to see how God takes men’s paths from crooked to straight and gives them a new direction. It’s inspiring to watch them chase after Jesus every single day. The venue and food are excellent, and the crew goes above and beyond to make the evening special. The whole night is a vivid reminder of God’s transforming power."
Keith Lovelace
“We first met Travis at a God’s Harvest event in 2021, and it’s been amazing to see his transformation. From shy and unsure, he’s now confident, joyful, and fully living as God’s son. Hearing from Tony Cash and witnessing the work at Freedom Lake Ministries showed us the power of God’s grace and second chances.”
Barbara & Tony Jeffries
“Loved seeing how God is moving in this ministry. The cardboard testimonies are my favorite part and witnessing these men stand boldly, holding signs that told stories of brokenness on one side and redemption on the other. These were declarations of freedom, healing, and hope! No one is too far gone for God's grace!”
Ellen Smith
“Loved the new venue at Mellwood Arts Center for last year's GHC! Seeing how God has used this ministry to transform lives always motivates me and opens my mind and heart. It reminds me that no person or situation is beyond God's reach. The great shepherd still goes after the one, even though He has the 99!”
Steve Kitts
“We enjoy volunteering so much and getting to know the men on a deeper level. God’s Harvest Celebration opened our eyes to a deeper understanding of this ministry. It is so humbling to be a part of God’s Harvest Celebration and serving Freedom Lake Ministries in other areas.”
Christina & Mike Hartnett

Meet Your Hosts

Freedom Lake Ministries was founded by Tony and Kim Cash, a husband-and-wife team called to disciple men impacted by addiction and incarceration. After spending nearly 40 years in and out of prison—including a combined 20 years in solitary confinement—Tony surrendered his life to Christ during his final time in solitary. While incarcerated, God gave him a vision to bring true rehabilitation through discipleship. In 2017, after his release, he met Kim, and together they launched into full-time ministry.

Since 2018, they’ve served inside the prison system and beyond, walking with men from incarceration to reintegration. With two ministry campuses and a growing discipleship program, they’ve mentored over 3,700 men and baptized more than 900 through the power of Christ.

Get your tickets today and join us for a night that will stir your heart and show how, together, we’re helping men walk in freedom and purpose through a relationship with Jesus.
