Kim Cash
Co-Founder & chief operations officer
With decades of digital communications and content experience, Kim has assembled a team that puts forth the Freedom Lake message on multiple platforms, engaging people in a meaningful and powerful manner. Kim is the creator of the Discipleship Living Plan (DLP) curriculum, is responsible for the marketing and management strategy, and is charged with producing and implementing systems, policies, and procedures to support Freedom Lake’s obedience-based discipleship training curriculum.

As a creative, I always found ways to convey emotion and tell a story through art and words, and with a degree in graphic design, I am able to bring that to the digital platform! We all have something given to us by God, and I hope to use the gifts He gave me to share the good news with the world. I have a Rabbit named Oliver who thinks he’s a dog and I always think pizza is a good idea! Above all, I love Jesus! He changes everything about our everything!

I’m a serial storyteller who considers the English language my playground and – as many people will tell you – I’ve never met a pun I didn’t like. The tuning fork of my soul resonates at the word justice in the spirit of Isaiah 1:17. I have written a few books, including the faith-based book Evil Does Not Have The Last Word. My wife Julie and I live in Austin, Minnesota, with our dogs Bixby and Bucky (also known as The Hammers of Justice).

As a graphic designer, I love creating something new and I aim to deliver timely and effective results to each of my clients. Working with Freedom Lake has always been a fulfilling experience by allowing me to do just that, while also being part of something bigger than myself by making a true difference in the lives of others. When I’m not pushing pixels I love spending quality time with my wife and kids, learning, gardening, and spending time outdoors.

As a self-taught web designer, I am grateful to be able to step inside the world of my clients and help them create an online presence to share their message with the world. When I’m not attached to my laptop, you will find me surrounded by my rescue pets, exploring the hiking trails of Northern California or bargain hunting.

I love telling stories through photography and capturing important moments in time. I love dance, travel, photography, attending live sporting events, and the performing arts! When I’m not serving Freedom Lake, you can find me in a dance studio or with my nose in a school book. Most importantly I love Jesus and I love my husband!
