So…this year we’re letting you know well in advance about God’s Harvest Celebration on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
Why is it important to mark your calendar now?
Because life is busy. You book weddings, vacations, and family reunions far in advance and we want you to have plenty of time to make plans to attend this year’s God’s Harvest Celebration.
God has done some of His greatest work through those who are incarcerated. Serving men inside and outside the prison system has been our mission field for the past five years. What we know to be true is that those who are struggling to overcome their addictions and who are trying to embrace the life God wants for them must grow to spiritual maturity by renewing their mind; replacing old thoughts with God’s Word and learning how to use the spiritual armor in order to fight their battles.
Freedom Lake holds to a core purpose: to invest our resources in helping men be freed from their old habits or destructive patterns of addiction and the revolving door of the prison system by teaching them to become Jesus’ disciples who multiply the Kingdom of God. As a 501(c)3 Christ-centered nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a transformative experience for our discipleship students by preparing them for a life of servanthood, a life of obedience, and a life on mission to serve our Lord Jesus Christ in the spirit of the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20).

God’s Harvest Event is like no other event for one reason.
The God’s Harvest Event is held each October as a celebration not of what we have done but, instead, a celebration of what GOD has done over the last year. We break bread with members of our community to allow them to experience the lives that have been changed, how God has moved through the previous year, how He’s moving now, and what lies ahead. It’s an evening of celebration, inspiration, and dedication to the one, true God.
Throughout history, the Harvest has always been a celebration to thank God for His provision and for His grace. God’s heart has always been to include us to be a part of planting, sowing, and harvesting in the mission fields. He is an amazing God that allows people like you and me to play our unique roles in His Plan.
