In the Spirit of the Great Commission
Matthew 28:18-20 – Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
OUR
MISSION
Freedom Lake Ministries’ mission is to introduce incarcerated men, trapped in seemingly endless cycles of addiction, to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; guide them toward spiritual maturity through a discipleship journey and church community; and empower them to become the fathers, servants, and disciple-makers God intends.
OUR
VISION
Freedom Lake Ministries’ vision is a thriving, replicable discipleship model within the prison, where men become spiritually mature disciple-makers, and select men, called to the ministry, return post-incarceration as volunteers and church leaders to teach others, plant churches, and transform lives for God’s glory.
OUR
PURPOSE
The purpose of Freedom Lake Ministries is to restore men to God’s intended purpose by offering a discipleship pathway to freedom from the generational cycles of addiction, incarceration, and absent fathers through Christ-centered teaching, empowering them to serve our Lord Jesus Christ in the spirit of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
