Today Tony disciples men the way he was discipled by Christ

“The Freedom Lake ministry was birthed in me throughout my time of incarceration as I was growing in my walk with the Lord.

God put it on my heart to focus on what it would take to help others like me grow to spiritual maturity by providing for them the atmosphere, instruction, and opportunities that I come to discover that I wish I would have had. If I would have had someone come alongside me to tell me God’s truth and how to truly be set free through purposeful and intentional discipleship, I would not have struggled and fallen so many times.

I never had anyone to disciple me and found later in life that, not only the importance of obedience-based discipleship but the call of our Lord and Savior to disciple others is to disciple them with the intent for them to disciple others.

When ministering to the incarcerated, discipleship starts right where they are.

Many, if not most, men who come to the Lord during incarceration do not grow to spiritual maturity during their incarcerated time. Freedom Lake meets that need for spiritual growth and maturity.

Freedom Lake provides the atmosphere and the opportunity that I believe men need to help them to continue to grow when they step back into society so they may mature into godly men who will be on mission for the Kingdom wherever they go.”

Freedom Lake exists to help men be freed from old habits or patterns by becoming Jesus' disciples who multiply the Kingdom of God.
