OBEDIENCE-BASED DISCIPLESHIP

Developing an obedience-based disciple maker doesn’t happen by accident. The foundational training at the Discipleship Lodge is based on four key components:

  • Hear God’s Word
  • Obey God’s Word
  • Share God’s Word, and
  • Train others to do the same

We use the acronym H.O.S.T. to help students easily remember this powerful disciple-making tool that will equip them to be a disciple who makes disciples who make disciples.

During a student’s time of residence, the curriculum equips students to be disciple-makers – and a trainer of disciple-makers – regardless of their vocation.

Our discipleship experience helps men grow spiritually mature as students continue working on-site, serving in the community, participating in intensive Roundtable Bible discussions,  preparing their own meals,  conducting household chores, and receiving positive feedback that promotes decision making that honors God.
