A trusted place where Christian community, relationships, and discipleship can grow during incarceration and continue beyond release.

Located within the same building as the correctional facility, The Church & Ministry Hub gives men a physical church home where the community and relationships being built through The Church Within can deepen. Men worship, learn, serve, build healthy relationships, and grow toward spiritual maturity while they are still incarcerated.

When release comes, men can remain connected to the same trusted community and relationships while seeking God’s direction for what comes next—whether that means returning to family, building a new life, or going wherever He calls them.

CONTINUITY
CHANGES EVERYTHING

Release can change nearly every part of a man’s life overnight. His church community doesn’t have to be one of them.

Because relationships are built before release, men don’t have to start over when they walk out the gate. The Church & Ministry Hub provides a familiar place where they can continue worshiping, receiving mentoring, practicing accountability, serving, and walking in life-on-life discipleship alongside people they already know and trust.

Instead of starting over, they keep growing.

A PLACE TO WORSHIP, GROW, AND BELONG.

The Church & Ministry Hub is a gathering place for the Freedom Lake church community during incarceration and beyond release.

Men worship together, study Scripture, pray, share meals, receive mentoring, build relationships, serve others, and practice the rhythms of faith that help them grow toward spiritual maturity.

Because this community begins before release, men develop belonging before transition—a church home and trusted relationships that can remain part of their lives as they return to their families, workplaces, and communities.

REMOVING BARRIERS THAT CAN INTERRUPT GROWTH.

Lasting transformation involves the whole person. Support can begin before release, as trusted relationships help identify barriers that could interrupt a man’s continued growth.

Through Freedom Lake’s Discipleship Pathway and Health & Wellness Resource Center, men can connect with voluntary practical resources such as counseling, recovery and wellness, employment support, and other services during incarceration, transition, and beyond.

Removing barriers helps men stay connected to community, discipleship, and continued growth.

GROWING FROM PARTICIPANTS INTO LEADERS.

The goal is not simply continued participation.

As men mature in Christ, they are encouraged to take greater responsibility—to serve, lead, mentor, disciple others, and use what God has done in their lives to invest in someone else.

Through The Church Within and The Church & Ministry Hub, men have opportunities to grow from being discipled to discipling others—becoming disciple-makers and leaders who strengthen their families and communities.

Growth leads to leadership. Leadership leads to multiplication.
